Who we are looking for

Purpose

We are searching for an experienced Lead HCP Marketer to join our growing US AIR Marketing Team. This newly created position will initially focus on pre-launch preparation for the Respiratory Therapeutic Area.


We want to find an experienced marketer with the skills, experience, and passion to help us fulfill our mission of helping to introduce Chiesi and our products to the US asthma and COPD respiratory community. This position will guide key commercial projects to engage HCPs. We seek someone who can work effectively in a dynamic team-environment, with a high degree of autonomy. This position reports to the head of US AIR marketing and will have direct reports.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Head of Marketing and other senior leaders to develop go to market strategies and market leading brand plans
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs and Commercial leadership to develop and nurture relationships with key customers and respiratory OLs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of TLLs including providing strategic direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful and compliant execution of key initiatives.
  • Work along and lead marketing manager to develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate our products in the marketplace.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of peer-to-peer and speaker program initiatives.
  • Work with business excellence colleagues to conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, product performance and potential competitive threats.
  • Work closely with the head of sales and their field sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of the customer engagement plan.
  • Attend scientific meetings to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the asthma and copd space
  • Partner cross-functionally with patient marketing, omnichannel/digital marketing, patient advocacy, customer experience, US medical affairs, commercial operations, market access, and field teams, to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
  • Guide key agency relationships with accountability for achievement of goals and an eye towards innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements both separately and for asthma and copd patients.
  • Engage in frequent customer facing interactions such as field rides, in-office meetings, events, and other activities as needed.
  • Contribute to leadership requests and presentations (e.g., Launch Readiness Updates, Tactical Plans) as necessary

Experience Required

  • 6+ years' experience in pharma HCP marketing
  • Previous product launch experience in asthma or COPD
  • Proven experience in developing and leading product marketing projects
  • History of success managing multiple priorities with excellent organizational and critical thinking skills on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Pioneer innovative projects and support thoughtful risk taking
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with field based teams
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing tools.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
  • Experience navigating medical, legal, regulatory process in a collaborative way
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment -- outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance only needed on the most complex tasks
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 30% travel anticipated if based in Cary, more if remote)
  • Preferred qualifications: People management,AGILE marketing experience, digital experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
