Job Objective: To oversee facility and lead associates, processes, and policies of RelaDyne in a manner of excellence in order to profitably maintain and grow market share, sustain customer loyalty, and provide opportunities for corporate financial growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist management in developing and communicating overall sales and market strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors
- Identify new product and business opportunities based on customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Integrate and prioritize corporate programs and initiatives into branch operations
- Collaborate with Controller, General Manager & Sales Manager on Annual EBITDA Budget, with specific emphasis on providing reporting & guidance toward developing the gross profit section of the annual budget
- Responsible for managing the branch gross profit and margins on fuel & lubricants
- Provide assistance/input for tuck-in acquisitions and internal branch realignments
Business Operations:
- Ensure all daily branch processes are handled accurately & timely
- Review, correct & approve invoice gross profit batch previews for fuel & lubricants
- Review and manage inventory adjustments
- Responsible for overseeing & managing the branch repackaging process
- Ensure open sales orders are processed timely, holding customer service accountable throughout the month
- Responsible for timely closeout of open sales orders and purchase orders, at month end
- Review negative vendor balances and old items on monthly statements
- Review branch performance daily, to ensure gross profit & margins are tracking to budget
Performance Measurements:
- Overall gross profit versus budget
- Lubricant and fuel margins versus budget
- Operating expense versus budget
- EBITDA versus budget
- Labor cost as percentage of gross profit
- Operational key performance indicators (KPIs) as developed by general manager and branch management
- Inventory levels as well as non-fuel days in inventory versus plan
- Inventory reserve levels for slow-moving and/or dead inventory
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team required (3-5 years strongly preferred)
- Prior experience in inventory management is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Prior experience in an operations management role strongly preferred
- Experience with managing employee KPIs and financial components strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Pay: $110,000 - $115,000
