Optum Consumer Experience and Digital Product team focuses on advancing a digital-first Optum, championing Optum's priority to be the ultimate health destination for consumers. This role reports directly to Optum's Vice President of Digital Analytics and is responsible in shaping analytical strategies for UnitedHealth Group's Enterprise Digital products and capabilities such as check out, log in, search and preferences. The position demands a unique blend of skills, including communication, analytical decision-making to interpret complex data, program management to oversee multiple projects, prioritization and people leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Measurement System: Establish approach to systematically and proactively track and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for enterprise products, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing technology platforms to leverage key consumer data. Develop alert system for performance varying off target and recommended interventions to correct based on data driven consumer feedback
  • Relationship manager: Manages numerous stakeholders across the business, each with unique goals and ambitions to set expectations, advocate for digital data best practices and standards, and balance the needs of all business areas to ensure the successful delivery of data products
  • Team Management: Lead a high performing team of teams of 2 digital data analysts. Manage the development, use, and performance of data, and works closely with data scientists, data engineers, digital product managers, and data analysts, bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities
  • Enhance User Experiences: Use consumer insights, operational data, and feedback to drive business outcomes and enhance user experiences

Required Qualifications:



  • 6+ years of consumer digital analytics, managing the analytics lifecycle, and transformation leadership
  • 5+ years in the Adobe Marketing Suite, specially the analytics tool set
  • Proficient in cutting-edge cloud technologies, machine learning advancements, and methods for optimizing data utilization.
  • Proven history of rapidly assessing situations, absorbing & applying new information to drive decision-making and direction setting
  • Proven confidence and perseverance in addressing challenges and overcoming obstacles (including demonstrating initiative, stamina and work ethic)
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and inspire at all levels, including addressing opportunities, risks, and strategic positioning with business and technology leaders
  • Proven record of displaying ownership, urgency and sound decision-making skills



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Background in digital analytics or data analytics
  • Proven change management successes, evidenced by impact to team outcomes

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
