Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for leading coordination of complex technical reviews conducted by internal audit and global compliance and operational risk (GCOR) for reviews that can be either Global Technology (GT) Divisionally focused or horizontal in nature and span across multiple CIOs within Global Technology
  • Apply technical knowledge to understand and address audit /GCOR questions, coordinate appropriate responses from technical subject matter experts, manage assessment flow and timeline from start of audit through to completion
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, and business partners to analyze assessment questions, understand and review technical evidence returned, ensure complete and accurate responses, and execute review and analysis of identified control deficiencies to drive to appropriate disposition
  • Interface with all levels of organization to ensure appropriate management involvement, awareness and understanding of risk, regulatory requirements, and impacts. Works under minimal supervision, managing audits, and GCOR reviews and assessments requiring strong understanding of audit processes and procedures



Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with audit, exam management, and/or compliance (or similar experience)
  • Project management and facilitation skills
  • SharePoint experience- manage/edit skills
  • Microsoft Office- excel for pivot tables
  • Proven Risk Leader with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities; knowledge of risk management /risk framework; ability to identify, escalate, and debate risk
  • Able to synthesize the complex into meaningful messaging to drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently.
  • Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global and fast paced environment.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, influencing the opinions and actions of key stakeholders and gaining their trust.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy and report on the status of risk reviews.
  • Wide knowledge of computing platforms and solutions
  • Able to "connect the dots for others across multiple data points, make connections upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable
  • Knowledge of project management concepts
  • A problem solver who can manage through ambiguity and controversial situations successfully
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills



Desired skills:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree
  • CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
  • Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena
  • Detailed, bank-specific risk management and governance experience.
  • Able to work with technical and non-technical business owners
  • Cyber security or information security domain knowledge



Pay Range: $38.44 - $46.44
