CONTINGENT -Rotating Day & Night schedules with rotating weekends & holidays

Day shift- MUST BE CURRENTY ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED RESPIRATORY THERAPY PROGRAM & have completed their 1st year of college rotations.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Provides evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Administers medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
• Delivers and assesses patient response to ordered therapy.| Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Provides patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.
• Currently in approved Respiratory therapist program. Ontrack to graduate May 2025. Has had a rotation in administering aerosol treatments, Incentive Spirometry and assessment skills.
