Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Designer with our client in their Mountain View, CA location. This is a 12-month contract position requiring hybrid work ~3 days onsite in Mountain View. Pay rate range: $68.56 - $85.70 hourly W2 only. Summary: This role, due to the business needs of the team, requires employees to be physically present in the specified office ~3 days/week. This helps to ensure you are best equipped to be successful and have the experience you need to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team. To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's Degree and include your portfolio, website or other samples of work. Responsibilities: Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process. Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand and user requirements. Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products. Requirements: BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction or related field. 4+ years' experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency). Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with cross-functional teams (including user research, product management and engineering). Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications. Solid understanding of user-centered and web design principles as well as current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). Ability to present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business, product and technology teams). Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and screen flows. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision. Ability to grasp multiple product requirements with careful attention to detail.
