ABOUT THE ROLE The Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily accounting, reporting, audit and SOX controls in the Corporate Accounting department primarily related to corporate debt, fixed assets and derivatives, as well other corporate functions as needed. What You Will Do
Lead the preparation and posting of monthly corporate debt transactions, including interest expense, amortization of discounts/premiums and issuance costs, and other related entries. Own the monthly debt close process by reconciling debt principal and accrued interest, performing variance and cash flow analyses, and maintaining comprehensive debt roll-forwards and summaries.
Take care of debt covenant calculations and lender reporting packages. Manage derivative accounting records, review third-party fair value analyses, and produce trend reports to support SEC reporting requirements (10-Q and 10-K). Ensure compliance and accuracy across all debt and derivative disclosures.
Maintain and reconcile a comprehensive debt dashboard, ensuring accuracy against third-party data and debt agreements. Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance reporting tools and support cross-departmental needs, including Capital Markets and Investor Relations. Participate in cross-training and assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
