Job Description:
As the SVP, Chief Architect at Blue Yonder, based in Dallas, TX, you will lead the charge in defining and implementing our architecture and platform development strategy. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation and ensuring that our technology initiatives align seamlessly with our business goals. Your role as a technology evangelist will involve engaging with stakeholders both internally and externally, fostering technology partnerships, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to advance Blue Yonder's position as a market leader.

What You Will Do:
Architecture and Platform Development:

  • Define and oversee the strategic architecture and platform roadmap for Blue Yonder's products and solutions.

  • Chair the Architecture Review Board to review and approve all architectural considerations in the Blue Yonder application stack.

  • Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing architectural frameworks and platforms.

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Tech Stack Management:

  • Evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance Blue Yonder's tech stack.

  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Optimize the use of cloud-based services, AI, machine learning, and data analytics within the platform.

Platform Development:

  • Guide and mentor engineering teams in platform development best practices.

  • Establish standards for development, deployment, and operational excellence.

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies through automation and innovation.

Technology Evangelism:

  • Serve as a key spokesperson on Blue Yonder's technology vision and strategy to internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

  • Communicate technical advancements and strategic initiatives to customers, analysts, and other external stakeholders.

  • Represent Blue Yonder at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.

Technology Partnerships and Tools:

  • Identify and develop strategic technology partnerships that align with Blue Yonder's business objectives.

  • Collaborate with partner organizations to integrate and leverage complementary technologies.

  • Ensure effective utilization of development tools and platforms to support scalable growth.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in software architecture and platform development, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, distributed software systems.

  • Deep understanding of cloud computing, AI, machine learning, and data analytics technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing large, global, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in the supply chain or commerce sectors is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $285,436 - $380,564 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
