Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will develop, implement and manage the global solutions strategy within the USA - ensuring business, increasing sales, market share and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the Electrification local marketing and sales teams and global marketing and sales organizations across all ABB Businesses and EL Business Lines. In addition, through your team and directly manage key and strategic accounts located in the US, driving global growth, profitability and customer satisfaction, by coordinating the sales activities and managing resolution of specific customer problems. The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) with estimated 60% travel. This role is contributing to the Electrification business. You will be mainly accountable for: * Developing sales strategies for accounts, defining and proposing sales targets and growth margins for all focused Data Center accounts in the US and ensuring their achievement with a structured follow up process. * Ensuring ABB's value proposition for Data centers is developed and well communicated (internally and externally) within the territory. Supporting the local Marketing and Sales organization to ensure they are positively perceived in the U.S. data center market. Taking initiatives to reinforce ABB's visibility in the territory by strengthening external market communication in coordination with the Marketing / Communication team and by participating in dedicated customer events and solution related trade fairs. * Coordinating the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising, and marketing) in order to provide value added services to accounts. * Selling products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Area.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, preferably in Engineering or Software.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales Leadership or Marketing in a technology business and at least 5 years' experience in the Datacenter solutions area within the territory.
- Experience in developing C-level relationships, being an advocate for the customer and proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen to create a business aligned strategy.
- Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs as well as managing ambiguity. Tolerant of ambiguity.
- Seasoned professional with experience in AI, established relationship with key players in the industry and product experience: UPS, Switchgear, Switchboard, etc.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $162,000 and $270,000 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus. myBenefitsABB.com
