The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing parts and assembling pre-packaged installation kits for equipment, ensuring timely shipping and quality control.

This role is critical in supporting the business in our warehouse operations, contributing to efficient order processing and inventory management.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Receive, package, and locate items for storage of all incoming spare parts, placing on shelves or in drawers.

  • Retrieving items for shipping.

  • Package and prepare materials for shipment via various means (UPS, FedEx, common carrier, Expedited carrier, etc.).

  • Schedule and coordinate emergency shipments via same-day courier resources.

  • Able to respond 24-7-365 via phone, cell or in person, if necessary.

  • Safely operate plant material handling equipment as required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts for the business by ensuring timely receipt, consolidation, assembly, and shipping of installation kits.

  • Work as part of the team to efficiently receive, consolidate, and ship orders through the warehouse.

  • Ensure package quality by verifying correct parts and preventing missing items in shipments.

  • Track all shipments to minimize lost parts and monitor parts inventory levels to prevent shortages.

  • Manage blocked stock inventory in SAP and monitor scheduled inbound deliveries.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to track missing deliveries and inform Specialists of expected arrival times.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • 2 -5 years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP or comparable software.

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

  • A positive attitude, reliable and dependable, and organized.

  • Safety focused.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Availability to work a 7:00am - 4:00pm shift.

  • Forklift certification is preferred but is not required.

  • A valid driver's license is required.
