JOB SUMMARY
This role will provide dedicated senior project management support to the Office of Health System Affairs - Pediatric Services in key areas of operations, negotiations, and planning for the clinical pediatric enterprise at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Primary responsibilities will include position approval and tracking management, collaborating with clinical departments, and coordinating initiatives associated with the Joint Pediatric Enterprise (JPE) and its associated leadership structure. The Senior Project Manager will be an integral team member who will work closely with directors and AVPs as well as liaise with internal and external stakeholders to lead projects and provide deliverables that support the advancement of the goals of the enterprise.

JOB DUTIES



  • Provides strategic oversight and direction for multiple, high-priority projects within the pediatric faculty practice, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Defines project scopes, goals, timelines, and deliverables, working directly with executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to achieve project success.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, relieving the director of complex, high-level responsibilities that require in-depth knowledge of institutional policies, operations, and partnerships.
  • Leads the development, review, and refinement of critical documents, reports, presentations, and analyses, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with institutional objectives.
  • Establishes and fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including department leadership, faculty, and third-party partners, to support clinical operations and strategic collaborations.
  • Assist directors in planning, negotiating, and problem-solving challenges that arise during partnerships.
  • Contributes to projects tied to JPE Governance, Committees and Board of Directors meetings to ensure effective coordination and execution.
  • Performs financial analysis and utilizes problem-solving methodologies to improve operations and coordination of services.
  • Oversees and enhances the design, execution, and effectiveness of internal control systems, ensuring compliance with operational, financial, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures to uphold institutional integrity.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive organizational information.
  • Performs other high-level duties as assigned.
