Engineering a world of possibilities
The Economics and Business department at Colorado School of Mines (Mines) is hiring for an advanced Research Associate to perform research on the electric sector impacts of spatiotemporal electricity reporting and procurement under different design principles and constraints.

Research tasks will include explorations of the alignment between the signals conveyed through spatiotemporal inventories and the outcome of actions motivated by those inventories. The research associate will perform analysis on the outputs from an electric sector capacity expansion model as well as empirical electricity data, develop conclusions from that analysis, and write academic articles for publication.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Energy Systems research
  • Must be familiar with the relevant technical concepts and existing literature in Energy Systems

Annual Rate

$150,000
