We seek a dedicated and driven Director of School Counseling to serve as a member of our administrative team. The Director of School Counseling will provide academic, social, emotional, and career guidance to middle and high school students in an online and blended context. This administrative position oversees student success, supports planning initiatives, and translates the Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Program to our global school. Duties: The percentages are estimates. Depending on our evolving school needs, these percentages may ebb and flow. Supporting students' academic and social-emotional needs in an online, blended, and global contexts will be central to this work. Academic Advising - 50% Primary Purpose: Support students in reaching graduation goals. Develop and monitor graduation plans and review curriculum and transfer credit. Assist students with course selection, academic planning, and goal setting. Review course completion and approve graduation. Provide information on scholarships, financial aid, and other post-secondary opportunities. Guide students in preparing for and completing ACT, SAT, and PSAT exams. Support Student Success and Social-Emotional Health - 20% Provide counseling and communicate with partners and families to address students' social-emotional needs and mental health concerns. Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being, resilience, and positive coping strategies. Review IEP, 504, and related documentation and create student support plans. Provide accommodation information for students taking the ACT or SAT exams to ACT or the College Board. Program Coordination - 20% Professional Flexibility - 10% Qualifications
