Position Summary Manage multiple long and short-term planning projects for the University's academic, residential, and administrative units in development of, and in accordance with the University's Strategic Planning Initiative and Space Planning and Design and Construction Guidelines. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's degree. Preferred Education: Degree in architecture, engineering, project management, or construction management. Required Experience: 5 years' experience in Project Management. Experience with resource and budget/financial management. Experience managing large institutional projects involving multiple clients and consultants. Preferred Experience: Systems design and/or construction experience. Knowledge or CAD. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan and manage a variety of long term projects, control costs and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively utilizing problem solving and negotiating skills with senior management and design team. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate policies and processes to a diverse population. Knowledge of NYC building, zoning and other regulatory codes. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of construction and engineering design. New York State licensed engineer or registered architect. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00 to USD $120,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
