  1. Data Governance Expertise and Processes


    • The Senior Data Governance Analyst lead in the management of governance processes, revise existing governance processes, and implement new processes that are aligned with corporate priorities and initiatives. This could include:
    • Use and support data governance and analytical tools, evaluate data quality, applications, and workflow functions. Informs workflows for data governance, data quality, data catalog, master data, reference data, and data lifecycle management.
    • Identify and implement efficiencies to simplify, streamline, and transform data governance processes.
    • Partner with Information Services to establish standards and capture appropriate metadata in Informatica for all data assets and create processes to manage this on an ongoing basis.
    • Leading reviews of new data assets, applying governance principles to determine how best to implement them into the data governance environment.


  2. Stakeholders, Project, and Service Requests


    • Lead stakeholder engagement, project oversight, and service request management across the enterprise.
    • Establish strategic relationships with business and technical stakeholders, actively identifying opportunities to implement governance principles and drive enterprise-wide collaboration.
    • Lead project delivery in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Take full ownership of managing incoming data governance requests, including triaging, assigning, and ensuring timely execution and delivery.
    • Lead the analysis, monitoring, and resolution of complex data governance--related issues.
    • Identify, conduct and oversee ad-hoc data and process analyses as required.


  3. Data Governance Office Support


    • Provide support for the growth of the team and capabilities for the data governance office.
    • Lead the growth of the data governance office capabilities.
    • Mentor and coach less experienced analysts and take the lead in developing and facilitating training on data governance topics.
    • Integrate current industry trends and best practices into the organization's data governance strategies.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary resource for data governance and data management across the enterprise.


  4. Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.


    • Leads by example in cooperating with staff across the organization to achieve departmental and enterprise objectives.
    • Proactively takes on additional responsibilities and drives cross-functional initiatives.
