Accounts Payable Specialist

What you'll Do:

SRS Distribution, Inc is hiring Accounts Payable Specialist role and will be responsible for reviewing, verifying and processing of invoices. Along with the broader AP teams, the Specialist will focus on working with requesters and suppliers to maintain information and processes. The Specialist should be comfortable communicating to various stakeholders, suppliers, branches, and management to ensure items are actioned properly and timely. Duties may also include research, adhering to policies and providing feedback as necessary, as well as other Accounts Payable tasks assigned.

• Ensure all invoices and payment requests are approved and processed timely.
• Responsible for verifying, analyzing, investigating, and resolving payable invoice discrepancies and deficiencies.
• Accounts are reconciled and processed according to company policies, and accounting regulations.
• Knowledge of general accounts payable processes and procedures
• Help to identify process and procedural improvements and take the lead to implement changes and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements We Look For:

• 1- 4 years of relevant work experience in Account Payable.
• High school or equivalent (Accounting courses are a plus).
• Knowledge of general accounts payable processes and procedures.
• Process documentation (S.O.P.'s) and data analysis.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced, high-transaction environmentin an organized manner
• Excellent written and oral communication and research skills
• P/C literate; ability to navigate the Internet; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Pass both a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for any company.
