The Role:

As the Director of Practice Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in steering Covenant Medical Group towards success. Based in a dynamic environment, you'll collaborate with clinic management to provide visionary leadership, ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare services. You'll work with minimal supervision, allowing your expertise and creativity to shine.

What You'll Do:



  • Champion Outcome Measures: Lead all identified outcome measures as outlined in the Performance Assessment, driving excellence in clinic performance.
  • Master Operational Functions: Direct, supervise, and coordinate specific functions within the clinic, including accounting, materials management, HR, data processing, maintenance, and support services.
  • Develop Talented Teams: Assist in selecting, employing, developing, and managing employees, crafting clinic personnel policies and practices that foster growth.
  • Advocate for Quality: Promote cost-effective, high-quality care services that meet the needs of our community.
  • Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Innovate Solutions: Review operational challenges and recommend innovative solutions and changes to clinic management.
  • Steward Fiscal Resources: Assist in budget preparation and implementation, recommending funding based on comprehensive policy, cost, and procedural insights.
  • Enhance Facilities: Recommend improvements to clinic facilities, including construction, renovation, and equipment acquisition.
  • Interpret Policies: Communicate center and departmental policies and operational procedures effectively to staff, resolving issues related to staffing, facility utilization, equipment, and supplies.
  • Represent Publicly: Act as the clinic's ambassador at public and professional meetings and conferences, as requested.
  • Lead Communication: Drive clinic communication and public relations programs, fostering a positive image in the community.
  • Coordinate Committees: Facilitate clinic committees, including physician advisory groups, to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Pursue Professional Growth: Maintain professional affiliations and pursue development to stay ahead of healthcare administration trends.


What You'll Bring:



  • Educational Credentials: A Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration.
  • Proven Experience: 3 years in health administration, with at least 2 years in a clinic environment.
  • Driving Competency: Capability to drive as required, complying with state laws and providing proof of driver's license and insurance upon request.
  • Healthcare Insight: Deep knowledge of health administration, clinic philosophy, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Fiscal Expertise: Proficiency in fiscal management systems and techniques.
  • HR Mastery: Expertise in human resource management, including supervision and staff development.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of governmental regulations and requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computer systems and applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and develop effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational Strength: Skill in organizing goals and objectives effectively.
  • Analytical Ability: Capability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Report Writing: Skill in preparing comprehensive reports and monitoring quality standards.
  • Communication Clarity: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Availability: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Travel Readiness: Up to 80% travel, with possible overnight stays, using your personal vehicle.
