Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a skilled SAP EDI Project Manager who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with 12 to 14 years of experience specializing in SAP EDI and the Medical Devices domain. The ideal candidate will manage projects in a hybrid work model ensuring seamless integration and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP EDI systems and the Medical Devices industry to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning sessions to ensure all project phases are thoroughly mapped out and understood.
  • Supervise the execution of project plans ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance on SAP EDI systems ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  • Communicate project status risks and issues to customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to the Medical Devices domain.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports and risk management plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings ensuring all team members are informed and engaged.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Apply project management tools and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Drive project success by ensuring all project objectives are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in project management with a focus on SAP EDI systems.
  • Extensive experience in the Medical Devices industry understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Show proficiency in project management tools and methodologies ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Have a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards specific to the Medical Devices domain.
  • Display the ability to identify and mitigate project risks ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in project management practices.
  • Exhibit the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Show proficiency in facilitating project meetings and ensuring team engagement.
  • Experience in monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure success.
  • Display a strong focus on achieving project objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
