What is the role about?

The Paralegal position will work to support the four attorneys in the Legal Department who serve all of the sales and manufacturing entities in the Endress+Hauser Group in North America. Responsibilities include contract review, immigration matters, employment law, risk management, and compliance.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Review and revise terms and conditions, purchase agreements, vendor agreements, and service agreements.
• Aid in the management of Endress+Hauser authorized sales and service provider contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on contract negotiations to effectively manage risk and drive the business, as well as internal teams and affiliates to analyze potential risks on possible contract changes.
• Assist with immigration filings, documentation, and case management for work related visas.
• Assist with corporate compliance and governance filings and legal document management.
• Support various insurance program initiatives, including supplier qualifications, insurance certificate management, and litigation claims.
• Participate in developing process improvements and process mapping.
• Draft and edit legal documents as directed and supervised by attorneys.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

• Bachelor's degree, or minimum of three years of experience in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Ability and willingness to change, being curious and open to new things, ability to adopt and promote change while thinking and acting positively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be cross-functional process oriented and support teamwork and team spirit.

You may have (preferred):

• Self-motivated professional with strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills, demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to perform legal analysis, read and interpret contracts and commercial documents, and demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills
