CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Structural Engineer to join our Water Team as a technical leader and mentor in Winter Springs, FL; Tampa, FL; Miami, FL; Winter Haven, FL; Blacksburg, VA; or working remotely. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, guide project execution, and make a lasting impact across diverse water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering disciplines.



What You'll Do:

    Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
  • Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in various areas of water/wastewater
  • Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutions
  • Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraints
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and support
  • Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agencies


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering required
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$108,000 - $124,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
