Position: Child Protection Team Social Worker Department: Pediatrics Schedule: Part Time, Per Diem, On-Call POSITION SUMMARY : The Child Protection Team, part of the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, is a multidisciplinary group of pediatricians and social workers with specialized training in child abuse and neglect. This position is for a Clinical Social Worker who will join a rotation of Child Protection Team Social Workers in providing telephone-based after-hours consultation regarding cases of suspected child abuse or neglect to providers and staff across Boston Medical Center Health System and its affiliated Community Health Centers. This person will also act as a liaison to our colleagues and the MA Department of Children and Families (DCF) when on-call. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Requires Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work. Requires a Massachusetts license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (or eligible for licensure within 90 days of hire). EXPERIENCE: Preferred:3-5 years relevant work experience, including hospital/healthcare setting or child welfare KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
