Genesis10 is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator with our client in the healthcare industry located in Dickson, TN. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization Assist with staff scheduling Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines Support proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment Responsible as a Charge and Assistant Nurse Manager Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Nurse Associate Degree 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required Any length of previous leadership experience in Woman's, L&D, NICU, Mother-Baby Units Capable of delivering babies and scrubbing in the OR as needed If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
