Primary Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with development teams to sequence and prioritize releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with the App Release Manager to coordinate and execute efficient and timely app releases
  • Provide subject matter expertise on iOS and Android platforms, staying updated on the latest platform capabilities and trends
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of release processes, audit findings, app submissions, app rejections, and user reviews. Generate reports to track app performance, identify areas for improvement, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to tools and best practices for mobile development, promoting efficiency and quality across the organization
  • Monitor app health and performance, identifying and addressing issues proactively to ensure optimal user experience
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of core common mobile capabilities across products
  • Manage automation initiatives: Increase speed-of-delivery for app store submissions with automated processes to improve release time of hotfixes or general releases.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, QA teams, product managers, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the release process.
  • Capability Audits: Collaborate with development teams to assess and enhance app capabilities, ensuring they meet the required standards and industry best practices.
  • App Submissions and Guidelines: Assist teams in navigating the submission processes for Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with their respective guidelines and requirements.
  • App Review Guidelines: Stay updated on the latest App Review Guidelines for Apple and Google, providing guidance and support to app teams to ensure their apps meet the necessary criteria for approval.
  • App Rejection Remediation: Work with app teams to address and resolve any app rejections, identifying the root cause and implementing necessary changes to meet the guidelines and get the app approved.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a focus on consumer-oriented products
  • 7+ years of mobile (Android & iOS) mobile product experience. Native app or React Native product development
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and customer journey mapping
  • Highly technical, with experience and track record of success in building and growing products
  • Highly collaborative and capable of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in the health insurance industry and an understanding of health care industry concepts (encounters, episodes, members, cost of care, benefit administration, etc.)
  • Experience developing, maintaining and/or evaluating an app ecosystem
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting and analyzing data to develop clear and concise internal messaging
  • Executive presence with solid presentation skills
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on the goals and behaviors required for success

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
