SPAARK 2.0 is seeking a Team Specialist to support the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's (PAARNG) Property Accountability and Assistance Team (PAAT). The PAAT assists with all levels of property managers to ensure that accountability is maintained within the regulated standards and assists in receiving and shipping equipment sets for transfer. This position is located at Fort Indiantown Gap, in Annville, PA and the Hanover Readiness Center.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as points of contact for customers with supply and service problems.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints such as lost shipments, issue shortages, back orders on priority requisitions, erroneously canceled requisitions, excessive order shipment times, warehouse refusals, etc.
  • Provide technical evaluation of property book management, hand receipts, adjustment documents, all accountable records, and other property accountability document issues.
  • Assess property accountability, provide technical assistance and instruction, promote adherence to supply procedures, and facilitate procedures to cultivate and enhance equipment accountability.
  • Assist unit Property Book Officer (PBO) with maintaining property book accountability and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain property book accountability and support documentation for property book items, condition of on-hand items, and property locations assigned to hand receipt holders.
  • Update and maintain receipts for non-expendable property and provide printouts of current hand receipts for supported units and activities when requested.
  • Ensure that property book accounts are reviewed, unit/activity supply personnel are assisted, and asset accountability is maintained, emphasizing units mobilizing, demobilizing, or selecting for command logistics or inspector general or audit reviews/inspections.
  • Research such areas as document flow and control, report accuracy, funds utilization, priority management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist other USPFO SSA activities with inventory, issues, and receiving of items, including assisting in the receiving and issuing of equipment during New Equipment Training (NET) and assisting the Central Issue Facility (CIF) in the inventorying and receiving turn-in of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE), and the Issue of OCIE, the sizing and issue of Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) equipment for deploying Soldiers, conducting tailgate turn-ins at readiness centers throughout PA, or during high operational tempo period, as needed.
  • This position will require local and overnight travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

General Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience have demonstrated practical experience with logistics and supply management support, providing property accountability management and visibility support functions.
  • Possess Army experience/knowledge directly related to the requirements of the contract.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Have computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Secret Security Clearance
