SUMMARY

Mortenson is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join the Human Resources team. The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of HR Management Systems and implementation of related 3rd party solutions. This role combines HR knowledge with information retrieval skills to produce insightful reports and dashboards to contribute to analysis and decision making, statistical data, and other leadership level needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide technical support and maintenance for HR information systems (including but not limited to Oracle, Cloud and SumTotal) for one of more HR information systems

    • Provide reporting, metrics and analytics

      • Ensure report and data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and data analysis flow for process improvement opportunities

    • Test patches, custom objects, and any other changes that may impact HR systems
    • Implement, test, and maintain the company's instance of HR Systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information
    • Responsible for quality assurance, creation of test scripts and testing execution
    • Responsible for organization management design, support and data integrity
    • Ensure compliance with stabilization requirements

  • Lead Oracle Security by providing guidance on industry standards and compliance

    • Work with HR leadership to align on security approach

  • Analyze company needs, gathers functional requirements, and works with vendor(s) and/or internal developers to design systems and tools

    • Recommend process improvements aligned with applicable new or existing laws and assist in roll-out of communication of those improvements
    • Participate in the development and delivery of training to a multilevel end-user population on system use and related human capital best practice
    • Recommend and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system and provide information on new and cutting-edge technologies
    • Design and build forms and workflows within the system
    • Maintain, develop, and revise all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation related to HR Systems

  • Manage the following relationships and work products

    • Partner with Learning and Development, Talent Teams, and Benefits and Compensation
    • Act as the liaison between HR and ITS to support HR functions
    • Partner with related 3rd party consulting/implementation partners, learning content providers, and other complementary services

  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years progressive HRIS administration and analysis including cloud system support
  • Experience in one or more core HR or Talent Management practices (Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Career Development, Recruiting, Learning)
  • Experience working with ERP HR systems (e.g.- Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP)
  • Experience with SQL structure and reporting services
  • Expert level Excel skills with strong proficiency in MS Office - Word, Access, PowerPoint

The base pay range for this role is $97,100 - $145,700. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
