Welder II - 1st shift act

Primary Responsibilities:

* Sets up and performs welding on all welding operations.

* Successfully completes and maintains welding qualification for steel sheet and plate fillet and groove welding.

* Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records.

* Stops production when quality issues are detected.

* Completes all appropriate paperwork, including labels, accurately and completely.

Qualifications:

* Ability to perform complex welds, mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand blueprints.

* Minimum of 2 years experience with GMAW and Arc Welding.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
