Job TitleBusiness Analyst I - Deposit Operations Administration
Job Description
SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting operational excellence and strategic alignment across Deposit Operations. The ideal candidate has a strong command of organization, process improvement, business communications, and stakeholder coordination, contributing to the advancement of department initiatives and enterprise alignment. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Reporting & Data Management: Compile, organize and deliver various monthly reports. Identify trends and ensure data accuracy and clarity for leadership. Tracks sub-department milestones and integrates them into reporting and communications to support transparency.
- Presentations & Communication: Designs and produces impactful visual presentations on behalf of the Director and Managers. Compile, edit and deliver internal communications that align with organizational goals and tone, ensuring clarity and consistency across digital & written workspaces, ensuring updates are coordinated timely and strategically aligned.
- Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze business needs and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop actionable solutions, and contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of process improvements.
- Workflow Management & Coordination: Streamline processes and improve operational efficiency, adhering to best practices that contribute to Departmental synergy. Leverages tools to manage and improve workflows and business processes from an administrative perspective.
- Project & Meeting Management: Coordinate and manage internal projects, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, tracking progress and meeting deadlines. Plan, schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, track action items and ensure follow-up to drive project completion.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate departmental initiatives and events ensuring alignment with best practices. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, driving effective communication and collaboration across teams to support and achieve the department's strategic objectives.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs duties as requested by Manager.
- Complete all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
- Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years banking operations experience
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all deposit account products and services.
- Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures required.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work within all levels inside and outside of the organization
- Strong analytical and contextual skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines with strong time management abilities
- Experience with project management and project management tools/practices
- Self-starter, works with minimal direction.
- Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
- Technical expertise is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across multifunctional teams.
