Community Development and Strategic Partnerships
Be a changemaker. Drive community impact. Champion financial empowerment.

At Rize Credit Union, we believe that financial wellness and community empowerment go hand-in-hand. We are looking for a passionate and purpose-driven Community Development & Strategic Partnerships Executive to help expand our social impact, strengthen community collaborations, and deliver life-changing financial education across the communities we serve.

As a Community Development & Strategic Partnerships Executive, you will play a key role in advancing Rize's mission as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). You'll work at the intersection of strategy, partnership-building, education, and innovation-empowering individuals and organizations alike through data-driven insights, impactful programming, and sustainable community development.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with Purpose: Support and deliver financial education workshops and strategic community programs that foster economic mobility and empowerment.
  • Drive Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with community-based organizations, civic groups, and strategic partners to expand our outreach and deepen our impact.
  • Build with Insight: Analyze program data and sustainability metrics to ensure alignment with Rize CU's mission and long-term goals.
  • Fuel Growth: Assist with strategic grant applications, reporting, and funding development to support both Rize CU and the Center for Financial Empowerment (CFE)-our affiliated 501(c)(3).
  • Innovate for Impact: Contribute to new program models, scalable toolkits, and cross-functional strategies that help replicate success across different communities.
  • Report & Reflect: Track program effectiveness, maintain dashboards, and prepare compelling reports for funders and internal stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • A passion for community development, financial inclusion, and social impact.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect across diverse groups.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure outcomes, and identify trends.
  • Experience in program development, community outreach, grant writing, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with financial education, nonprofit collaboration, or CDFI initiatives is a plus.

Why Rize?

We offer competitive compensation, professional development, and a supportive culture rooted in values of equity, inclusion, and empowerment.
