Position Title: Weekend CNC Machine Operator

Wage: $18-$24/hour

Shift: Weekends

Hours: (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) 5am-5:30pm

Weekend CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (Swiss-style) to produce high-precision components according to blueprints and technical drawings

- Conduct routine machine checks and ensure machines are operating at optimal levels

- Perform tear downs and minor machine adjustments to maintain machine accuracy and ensure product quality

- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues or production delays as they arise

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety procedures and guidelines

- Follow all production schedules, quality control standards, and company procedures to ensure efficient and accurate production

- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions or issues

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met and deadlines are adhered to

- Document machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered during operation

Weekend CNC Machine Operator Requirements:

- Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably with Swiss-style machining equipment

- Experience with machine tare downs, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshooting

- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

- Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and operation

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively

- Knowledge of machining materials, tooling, and production processes

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is a plus

- Experience with CNC Swiss machines (e.g., Star, Citizen, or similar brands) preferred

- Familiarity with CNC software and programming (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) preferred

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment preferred

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

- Stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment

- Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
