Job Description

Provides sustaining support to those customers assigned to their Program Managers. Sustaining support is defined as the day-to-day activity necessary to ensure all issues related to on-going product manufacture and customer service are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Acts as the primary information collection point for all requests from customers under their management. Provides information to customers and the Program Manager as gathered from sources within the organization. Typical actions may include:

Timely and accurately process sales orders.

  • Ensure customer PO information accuracy prior to Sales Order entry
  • Responds to customer requests
    • Monthly Open Order Reports and/or WIP (Work-In-Process) Status
    • Coordinates customer changes with operations - pull-in or push-outs
      • Ascertain feasibility and impact
      • Coordinate with relevant departments
    • Provides shipping information
    • Serves as liaison between sales, manufacturing staff, and customer; communication with customer on activities in these areas is essential to the delivery of customer service
  • Works with Operations to resolve manufacturing issues which require customer involvement.
  • Assures Operations has provided out-of-shop dates to all customer requirements and coordinates and resolves exceptions.
  • Supports the Program Managers as needed.
  • Conducts all business transactions in accordance with the established guidelines of PCC/University Swaging business procedures and ethics.

General requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing; aerospace experience
  • Must possess strong sales order administrator skills for difficult or sensitive customer situations and response promptly.
  • Must demonstrate aptitude for creative problem resolution; conflict resolution, negotiating, persuading and speaking with others as well as responding appropriately to all levels of the organization.
  • Must be highly organized self-starter and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel (i.e. intermediate knowledge and use of excel formula), MS Outlook, MS TEAMS, MS Word
  • Must possess high-level of attention to details and accuracy.
  • Experienced with ERP systems. Familiar with Syteline a plus
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in all environments
  • Team member mentality - ability to work with others

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $28.00 to $35.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
