The Senior Manager, Editorial will be responsible for assisting in the execution of Paul Hastings' content management strategy. This role will work with the Editorial Director to ensure that all marketing and communications meet the firm's standard and conform to PH's style. The Senior Manager, Editorial will also edit and create content for use across internal and external marketing platforms, from updating firm website to crafting firmwide emails for department and practice leaders, as well as support the firm's rankings and recognition team. In this capacity, the Senior Manager, Editorial will:
- Review a wide range of internal and external content, such as thought leadership, event invitations, and firmwide emails from department and practice leaders, for AP/firm marketing style;
- Help maintain and implement standards for all editorial output, including style guidelines, practice area descriptions, attorney biographies, thought leadership and social media;
- Develop content for Paul Hastings' digital properties, including the website and social media;
- Work closely with business development staff and other administrative departments to ensure the content deliverables meet the needs of internal and external clients;
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others;
- Manage Firm resources responsibly; and
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Proficiencies:
- Outstanding written and oral communication;
- Advanced proficiency in English-language punctuation, spelling, grammar and writing;
- Significant experience in editing for AP style;
- Significant experience independently managing projects;
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and deadlines;
- Fundamental knowledge of legal and legal marketing concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills;
- Good judgment, critical thinking and creative problem-solving; and
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree required; emphasis in public relations, media, communications, journalism, business and/or marketing preferred;
- At least 10 years of business development, communications or public relations experience; and
- At least 10 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $154,500 and a maximum of $205,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
