Java Solution Architect (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spring Framework Spring Boot PostgreSQL mySQL Javascript Java and various AWS services. This role requires domain knowledge in Mortgage Loan and Consumer Lending. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

• Lead the design and development of scalable and robust software solutions using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Oversee the integration of PostgreSQL and mySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Provide technical expertise in Javascript and Java to develop high-quality applications.
• Utilize Amazon SQS and Amazon API Gateway to build efficient and reliable messaging and API services.
• Implement security best practices using AWS Secrets Manager and AWS Cognito.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Manage containerized applications with AWS ECS for optimal performance and scalability.
• Ensure seamless communication and notifications using AWS SNS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for Mortgage Loan and Consumer Lending applications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
• Mentor junior developers and guide them in best practices and technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Contribute to the companys purpose by delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

• Possess strong expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Have extensive experience with PostgreSQL and mySQL databases.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Javascript and Java programming languages.
• Show hands-on experience with Amazon SQS Amazon API Gateway AWS Secrets Manager AWS SNS AWS Lambda AWS ECS and AWS Cognito.
• Have domain knowledge in Mortgage Loan and Consumer Lending.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $103,821 - $187,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
