We're currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Compounder to join our production team. Onsite Monday-Friday Hours: 6am-2pm Position Summary: The Chemical Compounder is responsible for preparing and maintaining chemical solutions used in various processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that production runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience handling chemicals, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Weigh, measure, and mix chemicals according to precise formulas and specifications. Prepare chemical batches used in baths and other surface treatment processes. Monitor and test chemical concentrations and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal conditions. Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, lot numbers, and batch data. Safely handle and store hazardous materials following OSHA and company guidelines. Clean and maintain mixing tanks, pumps, and associated equipment. Assist with inventory control of raw chemical materials and notify supervisors of low stock levels. Work closely with technicians and quality control to ensure bath consistency and process integrity. Support continuous improvement and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certification in chemistry or chemical handling is a plus. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in chemical mixing, compounding, or a related role in manufacturing. Familiarity with processes and chemical safety standards (OSHA, SDS, PPE). Ability to read and interpret chemical formulas, batch sheets, and technical documents. Strong math skills and attention to detail.
