A challenging and engaging Sr. Laboratory Technician position is available in the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Group for enthusiastic individuals with a scientific/technical background. The candidate will perform oligonucleotide synthesis using Automated Synthesizers, Cleavage and Deprotection using benchtop chemistry, analytical testing and various other manufacturing procedures. Position offers excellent potential for long term career growth.

The opportunity:

  • Perform oligonucleotide synthesis and characterization using technical instrumentation by following instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs. The candidate will become proficient with complex and technical equipment and processes.
  • The candidate will be expected to organize work effectively to ensure efficient utilization of time and materials and to complete all procedures in a cGMP compliant manner.
  • The candidate will also be expected to respond quickly and effectively to multiple and changing priorities, and to schedule work effectively to ensure that current and future needs are met.
  • The candidate will often participate in, or lead, various Group projects, activities and initiatives as part of their career and personal development.
  • The candidate will be required to accurately and legibly record methods, materials, and results in batch records, according to established formats, and to keep supervisor informed on status of all projects and of significant findings and results in critical areas.

Who you are:

  • You hold an Associates Degree in Scientific field, or equivalent mix of education and experience. (Bachelors degree preferred, Chemistry or BioChemistry major preferred.)
  • 0-4 year's industry experience. (1+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay transparency

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Branchburg is 50,900.00 - 94,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
