Staff Accountant - Accounts Receivable \| Vaco Phoenix Pay: $70,000 - 75,000 per year Onsite About the Role: Vaco Phoenix is partnering with a growing client in Phoenix to find a talented Staff Accountant with a strong focus in Accounts Receivable. In this role, you will manage various financial tasks, with a primary focus on outstanding receivables and ensuring timely collection of payments. We're seeking a driven team player with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you're ready to hit the ground running-let's talk! Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company's accounts receivable ledger Prepare and send out client invoices Follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payment collection Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or client issues Process credit card payments and other forms of payment Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts Prepare and deliver regular reports on AR aging and payment status Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger Assist with month-end close and other general accounting duties as needed What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable A professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of GAAP and solid understanding of accounting principles Availability to work onsite at our Phoenix office, Monday through Friday Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
