Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Accredited Dental Assistant School Graduate, Radiology certified, or equivalent experience;
  • 3-5 years' experience;
  • Periodontal Surgery experience desired, not required.
  • Knowledge of Dental procedures and terminology;
  • Ability to operate various forms of dental equipment;
  • Ability to maintain Sterile technique and an understanding and practice of HIPAA requirements;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook



Job Duties

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a dependable, professional Dental Assistant II who will be responsible for assisting our world class Dental Students in all facets of dentistry in our modern dental clinic. You will ensure and oversee proper techniques are being used in specific departments as well as compliant with OSHA guidelines and assuring standards are met. Will also assist Faculty as needed. Will assist with labs and classes during off clinic times, will be required to work one evening a month for One World Mission Clinic.
