POSITION SUMMARY As a Controls Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of all process control and operational support systems equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and computer-based equipment, as well as repairing any breakdowns that occur. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

- Pay:$38.14 with shift differential

POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED. Required
- 4-year degree in Eletrical EngineeringPreferred
- OR a proven record of accomplishment achieving positive results and increased engineering & maintenance leadership responsibilities with very strong process controls background required.Preferred
- Experience with automation systems for building, facility, utility, and process controls
- Experience with Rockwell PLCs, including process and machine motion control logic
- Experience with HMI systems, such as Allen Bradley FactoryTalk View platform
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical/electronic circuits.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and Programmable Logic Control Systems,
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems, troubleshoot complicated process control systems, apply root cause failure techniques, to anticipate changes, and react to avoid disruptions
- Strong electrical distribution and circuit analysis skills with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
- Safe use of electrical multimeter to measure AC/DC voltage, continuity, and resistance.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.
- Analyze performance data to improve electrical and automation equipment unplanned stops
- Will work and troubleshoot equipment by interacting with cross functional departments such as Maintenance Leadership, Production Leadership, Engineering Leadership, Factory Leadership, Front Line Operators, Corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Expectation: associate will be motivated and self-directed, requiring only nominal direct/daily supervision and adhere to Nestle vision of safe and inclusive culture
- Execute real time trouble shooting and problem solving with maintenance /Operations team and follow-up on issues to ensure that they are completed and that the issues are addressed. Participate in preventative maintenance completion as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical and automation platforms, equipment and unplanned machine stops
