Acara Solutions has an opening for a Inventory Control Specialist in Fremont, CA.

Duties include, but are not limited to
  • Auditing, stocking, and dispensing of materials to lab users Inspecting and maintaining lab areas for safety and Intellectual Property (IP) issues
  • Follow established processes to sustain & govern existing lab services
  • Support lab improvement projects on a need basis Work with cross functional teams to minimize inventory variances and implement improved processes to increase overall inventory accuracy
  • Resolve discrepancies; investigate misidentified or out of balance items with root cause analysis; identify necessary preventive measures to assure there are no re-occurrence
  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.
    Keep inventory room clean and organized.
    Notify Key stakeholders when project materials have been received.
    Provides backup support to Wafer Cage Team.
  • Responsibilities include, pulling reservation orders; staging for pickup; reclaim wafers; safeguard customer intellectual property, receiving incoming wafer deliveries, perform inventory audits.
    Work in a Lab environment which requires use of Lab suits to perform wafer reclaims and other duties in the lab Perform other duties as directed
  • Ability to interpret large data sets and summarize using Pivot tables and charts.
Hours: 1pm - 9pm / Sunday - Thursday
Training: training M -F, 5/8s.
Pay rate: $29.70/hr
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • HS diploma required.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conscientious and reliable in the completion of tasks
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Capable of working in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Motivated and self-starter
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs Able to stand/ walk and bend for long periods of time
  • Type at least 50wpm Proficient at 10 key
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
