Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Coordinator is responsible for a variety of HR administrative tasks with a primary focus on recruitment, HR compliance and employee engagement. The HR Coordinator must demonstrate high levels of professionalism and confidentiality while maintaining a strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate talent acquisition strategies designed to source, recruit, hire and retain qualified employees for six (6) locations throughout the northeast.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation including electronic employee files, I9 files and conduct audits as needed.
  • Work closely with HR Director and leadership teams to coordinate company-wide training efforts.
  • Act as point of contact for applicants and employees relative to company policies, benefits, hiring process, etc.; referring more complex questions to HR Director.
  • Assist with benefits administration and annual Open Enrollment process.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Liaison with IT to ensure equipment set up and space for new hires.
  • Maintain calendars, schedules and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of documents, employee information and other information received.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • Talent Acquisition/general HR experience required, 2+ years.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to business units in MA, ME, CT, RI and NY.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis on SharePoint and Excel required.
  • Experience with various recruiting software and ATS. Experience with Jobvite strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
  • High school diploma required. College coursework preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • Physical Surroundings: General office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.
  • Physical Effort: Extensive sitting, standing, bending, walking are all expected activities. Ability to lift more than 25 lbs. on occasion.
  • This is an in-office position, based in Billerica MA, Brockton MA or Bloomfield CT with frequent travel to other business unit locations throughout the Northeast.

Compensation: $53,000-$58,000; BOE
