Administer and support transportation compliance to ensure adherence with applicable standards, regulations and company policies, including Burris Logistics Safety & Loss Prevention Program. Support the Fleet Manager in collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for optimizing fleet performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



  • Interact in a solution-oriented and professional manner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete tasks and documentation accurately and timely * Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, including team members, carriers and other vendors
  • Assist in obtaining and retaining documentation needed for compliance, accidents, litigation, and claims
  • Provide guidance and administrative support regarding regulatory requirements and company policy regarding driver applications, driver qualification files, temporary drivers, hours of service carriers, freight brokers and other transportation matters
  • Deliver and/or support innovative solutions and process improvements to drive efficiency, enhanced driver experience, compliance and safety
  • Assist Fleet Manager with various fleet management activities, including procurement, repairs, maintenance and servicing
  • Assist and/or maintain statistical reports, files and relevant records related to maintenance, repairs, depreciation, mileage and other fleet management activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel
