Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and prioritize complex calendars.
- Working efficiently to support leadership in being fully prepared and timely for meetings.
- Provide support to include managing BoardEffect and details of all Board and Family meetings or events.
- During special events, assists in writing scripts, managing logistics, gathering assets, and organizing details.
- Act as a meeting facilitator to include scheduling, preparing agenda items, taking minutes, drafting action items and publishing documents as required.
- Promote, manage and distribute funds related to an internal "Good Samaritan Fund" program.
- Partner with external non-profit organizations to lead Service Day activities and fundraising efforts supporting communities where we live and work.
- Prepare and maintain advanced reports and presentations within Microsoft office suite of software. Must have a high degree of proficiency within Microsoft suite of software to include Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong working knowledge of the business and the ability to prepare and analyze reports, develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets and other software or programs as required.
- Anticipate needs, make administrative decisions and requests for information on behalf of the executive leadership team based on understanding of business priorities.
- Serve as a liaison and advocate for Burris, driving alignment and engagement across all levels of the organization and brands to support ONEBURRIS initiatives.
- Manage executive expenses, travel and provisional reporting ensuring all expenses are allocated and coded correctly.
- Lead efforts to drive Team Member engagement and connection to Burris through events, award programs, fundraisers, charitable giving and all communications.
- Serve as a liaison for all real estate holdings and oversee the general building maintenance.
- Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated work experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills in direct and indirect teams.
- Maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Desire to take on big challenges and can see the big picture as well as the details.
- Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests.
- Ability to build effective cross-group working relationships and work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Be flexible, have a strong eye for detail, meet deadlines and be comfortable working independently.
- Moderate level of Mathematical analytical, and research skills.
