Senior Program Manager (On-site)

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of the UCLA Health Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) Program, the Senior Program Manager will oversee assigned operations of the UCLA Health Social Drivers of Health Program and other related health system initiatives. The incumbent will:
  • Lead and coordinate a portfolio of complex projects that support program objectives, ensuring alignment with population health and organizational goals and strategies
  • Define scopes of work and develop detailed project plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across departments.
  • Manage project timelines, activities, and progress to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery.
  • Support strategic planning and define short- and long-term program objectives.
  • Identify and resolve barriers to program progress.
  • Assist the UCLA Health SDOH Program Assistant Director, Medical Directors, and other health system leadership in streamlining and enhancing program management processes, procedures, and guidelines by incorporating program management best practices and optimizing workflows.
  • Demonstrate managerial and leadership skills to support administrative and professional staff in project and program activities
  • Lead program-specific and advisory group meetings; document and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of operations to drive program success including support of SDOH regulatory requirements and emerging SDOH national standards.
Note: This is a flexible hybrid position with anticipated on-site days.
Salary Range: $83,800 - $179,400 Annually
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training - Master's preferred
  • Minimum of five years of healthcare administration and/or project management experience required
  • Minimum of three years experience in social care or public health required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification and experience preferred
  • Experience in leading, facilitating, and implementing new programs and/or projects
  • Organizational change management experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the proven ability to deliver agreed objectives with timeframes, including experience in successfully defining project tasks and activities with minimal guidance, and reporting outcomes utilizing industry standards
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis and presentation
  • Demonstrated skill (intermediate to advanced level) in the use of personal computers and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, database management, and analysis.
  • Organizational skills in priority setting, following through on assigned tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
  • Skill in working with complex organizations to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to function effectively in an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, other healthcare personnel and administrative staff.
