Job Description Summary |
Auburn University's Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure eligible position at the Visiting Assistant Professor level for the academic year 2025-26. This appointment is for one year and may be renewed by mutual agreement contingent upon availability of funds, the need for services, and satisfactory performance.
A successful candidate will teach three courses (9 credit hours) per semester. Course assignments may include, but are not limited to, Microeconomics - principles through graduate level, Public Economics, and Regulatory Economics. Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required by the time employment begins. We seek a candidate with strong evidence of effective teaching in the relevant areas. |

The candidate selected for this position must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin, and to continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills for instruction is required. |
