Agropur is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate all controlled shipments across the U.S. operations. This role ensures the best balance between cost, service levels, and transit times by working closely with internal teams, external warehouses, and carriers. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the Transportation Management System (TMS), resolving shipment issues, handling claims, and continuously optimizing transportation performance.

  • Salary range 003: $55 900 to $69 900 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator in Eden Prairie, MN.

  • Coordinate daily shipments: order preparation, carrier selection, and scheduling via TMS.

  • Maintain accurate logistics data and freight requirements in internal systems.

  • Troubleshoot shipment and carrier issues, escalating as needed.

  • Work with departments to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and monitor shipments across multiple U.S. facilities, including Agropur fleet scheduling.

  • Provide rate quotes and transit times to internal stakeholders.

  • Lead incident resolution, freight cost analysis, and claims processing.

  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, including regular performance reviews and rate negotiations.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and logistics.

  • Train internal and external partners on logistics tools and processes (TMS, scheduling, claims, etc.).

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment; logistics experience preferred.

  • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); experience with logistics systems a plus.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of basic math, documentation, and business correspondence.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Accountability and reliability in achieving goals.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

  • Proactive in professional development and embracing change.
