As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist, you will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert within the lab. Primary duties include: * Investigating and developing new or modified test procedures while reviewing and refining existing protocols. * Overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities. * Identifying staff training needs and assessing the competency of testing personnel. * Writing and maintaining SOPs and developing training materials. Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour Qualifications
*
Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
*
Bachelor's degree.
*
Minimum of 4 years of licensed CLS experience.
*
Strong knowledge and experience in Urinalysis.
*
Proficiency in evaluating Gram stains.
*
Experience with procedure and report writing.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
*
Demonstrated experience in validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
*
Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation. | |
