Physician: Psychiatrist, Adult Outpatient

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry, is seeking Adult-Outpatient Psychiatrists to join our faculty.

Psychiatrists for both Adult and Child/Adolescent for the COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER (CBHC) clinical services. Adult Psychiatrists to provide core clinical services in the new Boston Medical Center (BMC) CBHC program. Psychiatrists will provide thoughtful, comprehensive, and acute based assessments, psychopharmacology services, working closely with an interdisciplinary team including recovery and peer specialists, mental health clinicians, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and case managers for comprehensive treatment planning. This is an opportunity to participate in the statewide effort to redesign and innovate access to ambulatory behavioral health care, as a member of a growing academic department with opportunities for research/educational contributions.

About: The Department of Psychiatry, located at our main campus in Downtown Boston, has a range of ambulatory-based clinical opportunities reflective of an exciting period of departmental growth. We are expanding our care for a diverse, underserved patient population facing a range of behavioral health and often co-occurring physical health conditions. We are seeking skilled, passionate, mission-driven psychiatrists who are looking to make an impact.

Led by Dr. David Henderson, the Psychiatry Department is seeking skilled, passionate, mission-driven Psychiatrists. This is an opportunity to become a member of a growing academic department with a range of clinical opportunities and potential for research/educational contributions. In this role, psychiatrists will provide acute and longitudinal outpatient services in our new clinical space.

Our values and mission continue to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research. Both newly trained and/or experienced Psychiatrists are welcome to apply. Psychiatrists are members of the faculty at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM).

Requirements:


  • Medical Degree
  • Board eligible/certified in Psychiatry
  • Experience in Addiction Psychiatry desired

Compensation: Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM) offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM) appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
