Job Summary:

The Gharib research group seeks an engineer to conduct medical device prototyping in the cardiovascular area with a focus on data acquisition and advanced data analysis.

Essential Job Duties
  • Hardware design of pressure monitoring systems
  • In vivo data acquisition
  • Data analysis and and report writing
Basic Qualifications
  • PhD in biomedical engineering, medical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an academic or industry setting with strong focus on medical device development and data analysis.
  • Expertise in hardware prototyping, including microprocessor-based systems and embedded devices.
  • Strong programming skills, including 5 years experience in Python and proficiency in PyTorch.
  • Experience in signal processing and machine learning for biomedical applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming in C++.

Hiring Range

$80,000 to $108, 400 per year

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
