Join our team as an Associate Finance Analyst and play a crucial role in assessing the impact of various projects, systems, and transactions through comprehensive financial and business-related analyses. As an Associate Finance Analyst, you will conduct research and analyses in areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment. You will prepare forecasts, analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations. Your role will involve preparing work plans and schedules, completing thorough analyses, and presenting findings to management.

You will participate in formulating departmental budgets, reviewing actual expenses versus budgets, and issuing monthly variance statements. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of department procedures and performance measures, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. Special financial and business-related studies may be conducted as requested, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree; or High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of accounting, audit, finance, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of Gallo experience to include business analytics and financial modeling work.
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, Outlook Soft and JDE.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience effectively present information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Experience working with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Experience applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $27.31 - $40.96 Hourly
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
