Overview: (Key Personnel Proposal Opportunity)
Agile Defense is seeking a highly analytical and mission-focused Project Analyst to support a Department of Justice joint-effort program. This role directly supports efforts to identify and disrupt drug-related and criminal activity. The Project Analyst will be responsible for providing a high level of support and guidance in developing and maintaining long-range plans that meet the needs and support the missions of the client.
Clearance: Secret (1) and Top Secret (1)
Location: Fairfax, VA & Washington, DC (Onsite)
Responsibilities/Duties:
    • Uses various software applications to best capture and report on desired data elements and information related to criminal drug activity and client operational accomplishments, including but not limited to cases filed, defendants charged and convicted, trials and outcomes, sentences to imprisonment, monetary sanctions, and estimated reductions in illegal drug activity as a result of criminal enforcement actions.
    • Designs input data collection forms to facilitate and standardize data collection.
    • Reviews and assesses new software applications to improve efficiency and functionality of case tracking and reporting activities.
    • Converts data for inclusion into databases, spreadsheets, and charting or graphical software presentation programs.
    • Designs and produces output reports, summary tables, graphs and charts from database information.
    • Conducts special studies, research, and evaluation activities to assess and inform managers.
    • Designs and produces PowerPoint and other graphics presentations for use by managers.
    • Serves as technical expert on federal, state and local crime and caseload statistics, as well as other criminal justice data and policy issues.
    • Provides assistance to senior analysts on quantitative analysis and research methodologies regarding ongoing research studies, data analysis and program evaluations.
    • Analyzes and interprets data to identify significant findings and trends using statistical or analytical software programs such as SAS, SPSS, Microsoft Access, and/or Excel.
Required Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience in program or project analysis; or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of professional experience in program or project analysis.
    • Experience utilizing various types of software, such as Government- developed software, Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Experience conducting research and analysis of data, and reporting of results.
    • Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
    • Knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to work with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.
