This individual must have a strong knowledge of chemistry. This position will be split between teaching at both the Bethlehem and Pocono Campus (Tannersville, PA) locations. As professionals in a community college setting, faculty are involved in a variety of instructional and non-instructional activities, which contribute to goals and objectives of a comprehensive two-year institution. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: A doctorate in chemistry or a related field. Experience teaching at a community college; Experience teaching general chemistry, organic chemistry, and introductory chemistry courses for both non-science and science majors. Documented effectiveness in classroom instruction; Experience in program curricula and course development; Experience using and integrating technology in class instruction; Experience developing and/or implementing instruction in online or hybrid formats. |
